At our farmstand, customers often ask me for new and different ways to
prepare our vegetables and fruits. To deal with their growing requests,
I started handing out printed sheets containing recipes for my "vegetable
of the week."
After 25 years my collection of recipes has mushroomed and customers
have asked me to compile them in a convenient book. This book is my collection
of family' farm recipes and adaptations of recipes my customers and friends
have shared with me through the years.
You will find them easy, fast and delicious. The majority use fruits
and vegetables and can easily be made lower in fat by making a few changes.
They look and taste like creations of a gourmet chef who has spent hours
in the kitchen-only you will know that you were too busy for that.
